The Amazon is the most diverse area on the planet and an important part of the Amazon is located in Ecuador. To visit any of the lodges in the Amazon, we must leave Quito by air or land. -
We have selected the best places in our jungle, which have the necessary infrastructure to receive all tourists. Each tour consists of lodging in cabins, 3 meals daily, hikes in the jungle with a native guide, boats, river transport and air or land transport. -
Also included in our tours are bird watching, observation of other animals such as tapirs, caimans, snakes piranhas and an explication of the different types of medicinal plants and tress and their uses. We will also visit indigenous communities in each zone where their particular ways of life, culture, customs and the challenges of modern civilization, including the oil business that has affected their traditional lifestyle will be discovered. -
To visit the Amazon, it is not obligatory to have been vaccinated against specific diseases. It is recommended that tourists begin to take vitamin B one or two weeks before the trip as this works as a repellent and helps to avoid insect bites. Suggested clothing and equipment includes: 2 pairs of socks per day, comfortable walking shoes, a light raincoat with hood, binoculars, camera, insect repellent, sunscreen, battery-operated flashlight, cap or hat, passport and money.
